Today was a good day. We started out a little slowly just hanging out playing and watching some TV. Then we all got dressed and headed to the market. I hadn't been since before we left a while ago, so it was nice to go again. We picked out our fruit and veggies for the week. There is nothing like super fresh fruit and veggies! We also picked up a roasted chicken and potatoes for lunch. Abrahm usually goes to the market for me or at the very least orders and pays for everything. Today it was all up to me. I actually did pretty well. I even understood how much money they were asking me for (the numbers here are crazy!). We then headed home to have our yummy, fresh lunch.
After lunch some new friends came over for a bit. The kids had fun playing with each other. After they left, we gathered up all the bicycles and helmets and headed to the park. We were quite the sight. I even took Peodogi. It was a little nerve wracking to get all the kiddos across all the streets on their bicycles, but overall it went really well. The kids enjoyed racing around the track and playing on the playground. We even had a special snack. When we stopped by our boulangerie earlier in the day, the owner picked out 3 cookies for the kids and gave them to them. So I saved them for our special snack. They sure were yummy!
We got home and put everything away and I then cooked dinner. We had breakfast for dinner. It tasted pretty good! The kids enjoyed it as well. After dinner I played my first "game" of Pokemon. I have no idea what I was doing or how I was playing. Adam seemed happy, so that was a good thing. We finished up all the homework and now everyone is clean and asleep and ready to start school tomorrow! I hope everyone in the US enjoys their Labor Day vacation tomorrow!
