Day 60

Wow! We're 60 days into this little adventure! Time is passing by relatively quickly. Overall things have been going pretty well. We're still having issues with Adalee and school, but fortunately, nothing serious. She is still having separation anxiety issues which the teacher isn't very excited about dealing with, but once she is past the initial separation, she does really well! She loves coming home and sharing all the new French things she is learning. She can now say "bleu, orange, bonjour, sa va, and d'accord." She cracks me up! She is also really enjoying her dance class. She is taking modern dance because she is too young for ballet. It is actually a really good fit for her. The french ballet classes tend to be very formal and strict, but modern dance is all about being carefree and just moving with the music. All the little girls are so sweet!
Adam and Alden are doing really well. Alden got to go on a field trip to a boulangerie this wish. It was the highlight of his week. He got to watch them make baguettes, and of course eat them! He is working really hard and is making new friends. Adam's french is taking off. He is now really comfortable speaking with adults. He is really carrying on good conversations now. I am so impressed with his abilities. I wish I had some of that!
Abrahm is really busy, but doing well. He is involved in a big project that seems to consume most of his days (and nights), but has managed to sneak away a couple of times to Skype with me and the kiddos. It's so good just to see him for a bit. Adalee is very excited about Skype. She will come up to the computer and tell me that she is ready to see and talk to Daddy. I have to explain to her that it doesn't quite work on demand!
I think that is about it. We should have a rather quiet weekend. We've got a few errands to run, but for the most part, it should be a time of playing and relaxing! Hope everyone else enjoys theirs.
